Its accelerated 20-week trainings prepare students for careers in construction trades, IT, healthcare, and financial services.
Summit's model centers on hands-on training in fields like carpentry, electrical work, IT support, medical administration, dental assisting, and financial services. For a high schooler who learns by doing and wants a paycheck-ready skill, this is a fundamentally different use of dual enrollment than stacking transfer credits, and for many students it is the better fit.

Training here is hands-on by design, so plan on in-person attendance; this is not a program you do from a laptop at your high school.
Will my credits transfer?
Summit Academy's value is measured in job readiness rather than transfer credit. Its accelerated trainings lead toward employment and industry credentials, not Minnesota Transfer Curriculum goal areas, so do not choose Summit expecting credits that convert into a university transcript.
